Registered Manager (Ofsted)

Job Purpose:

The Registered Manager will plan, organise and manage the home with the following responsibilities:

• To take lead responsibility for running and management of the home.
• Foster good team spirit among the staff team and build good relationships with the local community to create a warm, homely, caring environment within the home, catering to the needs of the individual children.,
• Ensure the highest standards of physical, social and emotional care is delivered, exceeding any guidance and standards set by Ofsted.
• become the Registered Manager with Ofsted.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A relevant qualification is essential e.g. Level 5 NVQ in childcare or equivalent.
• 3 years’ experience in a residential childcare setting is essential.
• Adults and Children's DBS on the update service is desirable but not essential.

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to join us in the Northwest Swinton Area. Our young people services provide person-centered support and care for young people between the ages of 16 and 18 years with a variety of different needs and requirements.
