Job Purpose:
The Registered Manager will plan, organise and manage the home and the following:
- To take lead responsibility for running and management of the home.
- The Registered Manager will be required to foster good team spirit amongst the staff team and good relationships with the local community to create a warm, homely, caring environment within the home whilst catering for the children, taking into account the needs of the individual.
- The Registered Manager will be required to ensuring the highest standards of physical, social and emotional care is delivered, exceeding any guidance and standards set by Ofsted.
- The post holder will be required to become the Registered Manager with Ofsted.

Qualifications and Experience:
- A relevant qualification is essential e.g. Level 5 NVQ in childcare or equivalent.
- 3 years’ experience in a residential childcare setting is essential.
- Adults and Children's DBS on the update service is desirable but not essential.
